Kellie O’Connell is a litigation attorney at Levine Law, LLC in Denver, Colorado, where she represents clients in their personal injury and civil litigation matters. She brings a strategic, detail-oriented approach to litigation, developed through years of managing high-volume and high-stakes cases in both state and federal courts.
Prior to joining Levine Law, LLC, Kellie O’Connell was the youngest and only female named equity partner at a Florida-based litigation firm, where she began as a legal assistant and advanced over the years to associate attorney and ultimately partner. In that role, she represented individuals in bringing civil matters and defended individuals in criminal matters.
Kellie O’Connell has litigated cases in Florida state courts, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. She is admitted to practice before the Colorado Bar, the Florida Bar, and the United States District Courts for the Middle and Northern Districts of Florida.
Kellie O’Connell earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law, where she received multiple scholarships recognizing her academic achievement and advocacy skills. She also completed a Comparative Trial Advocacy Program in partnership with St. Hugh’s College at the University of Oxford. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Tampa.
Committed to public service, Kellie O’Connell has served on the Board of Directors for Crossroads for Florida Kids, where she acted as Secretary and volunteered as an attorney ad litem representing children in dependency and delinquency proceedings. She has also served as President and other leadership roles within her community homeowners’ association. Her dedication to pro bono work and professional excellence has been recognized with multiple honors, including Pro Bono awards from the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit and the Supreme Court of Florida. Kellie has also been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2024 and 2025.
Kellie O’Connell grew up in a small town in the mountains in Colorado with her family. She is excited to return to her home state of Colorado, with her two dogs Callie and Piper.
